About us
PI-101 is a collaboration between the Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) and Meriel Biosciences (MeBi), both located in Izmir (Türkiye).
The Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG) is an advanced biomedical research and innovation centre, unique in its size and composition. As the only national Centre of Excellence in the biomedical field, IBG is the prime address for biomedical research in Türkiye.
Meriel Biosciences (MeBi) is a private company (SME status) developing cellular immunotherapies and offering CRO (Contract Research Organisation) services on mouse in vivo models.
Our vision
PI-101’s main goal is to improve the Teaching and Training of early-career researchers in the European Research Area (ERA). Unfortunately, the formal training on advanced research and transferable skills is often inefficient, in particular in low-performing countries.
Especially, research consortia are often overwhelmed by the non-scientific demands of running an international project, with its expectations on training and Communication & Dissemination, as well as its project management.
PI-101 is here to help you.
We support you with your Teaching and Training activities, Communication & Dissemination, and project management based on the specific needs of the consortium.
